Hot Temp Outdoor Vapor Lock

I had a similar situation but it was 100 degrees. I did some regular maintenance (plugs, wires, and fuel filter) and have been waiting for the issue to happen again so I can test fuel pressure but it has cooled off here.

edit: I should add ive put 500 miles on this thing since it last happened with plugs/wires/fuel filter. Its possible those 3 fixed the issue, but I doubt it.

When I suspect a plugged fuel filter maybe an issue we like to drain the old filter see what comes out and then cut it open and see what’s inside. If it’s plugged up w black crap then maybe you found your issue if it is not, then likely you did not find the issue

Trucks do not self heal, so it will come back eventually. These types of issues are the hardest to troubleshoot
