id like some input on the ideas that i have and if some some with better photo editing skills want to make it look better feel free to do so

ok ideas 1 and 2 red is 1 and green is 2 right now i have no muffler and ends between the front and rear doors

ideas 3 and 4 blue would be the pipe from 1 or 2 red is 3 witch is just one pipe and 4 is green witch is two pipes one on each side and im thinking 90' on the pipe so that it stands off the body alil bit and 45 the tip so that it points back alil instead of out to the side

idea 1 might but 2 would manly run like the stock and then come out and up im not good with editting photos but ive talk with a shop and we think that we could to it with out making some bigger bump stops

How about notching or putting a hole in the chrome panel right behind the rear wheel for the pipe? That way if you change your mind, you can easily replace just that piece. Then run the exhaust pipe following the body lines of the hatch.

Just my 2¢...

thats kina what i was trying to show with idea 2 not sure what you mean about following the line of the hatch it would be close to the body with what ever way i run it after i clear it with the wife when she gets back lol ( money wise and her thoughts ) lol and your 2 cents is fine the way i see it the more people and there 2 cents the more ideas i might get or inprove on mine

I saw a full size bronco with legit stacks on both sides that came up in front of the rear wheels, that wouldn't work for you though, you have rear doors. Maybe just get some bigger tires, lockers, etc, so you don't get stuck in deep water and don't have to worry about the exhaust, because most guys don't worry about it.

not worryed about the deep water im really just wanting to do something out there that i have really seen for off roading or in gen. on the x's

Check out this one I just ran across on YouTube...

ok thats good maybe ill go with 2 stacks then and have them cosler to the body im going to make a heat shled for it as well
lol maybe a frist on a 2nd gen lol now to pick stright or angled hmmmm thats the qustion now

Stacks don't belong on an explorer. Just my opinion.

Someone is likely to get burned having a hot pipe exposed like that since it extends beyond the envelope of the vehicle. On a semi tractor, they typically have heat shields and don't stick out where a person passing by could contact the stack.

actilly they wouldnt be out past the mirrors there just going to be 2 1/12'' pipe not 8'' pipe lol and would have a heat shield as well

I understand. I am just thinking about a child in a parking lot or something along those lines. You should be ok as long as you make a reasonable effort to protect them. Watch the rubber window seal as well.

Teach your kids not to touch other people's cars :p

Me personally, I'd be more worried about my dumbass getting burned lol.

Honestly, I think it will look too out of place, and you will get more slack than praise (not necessarily on here).

Here are some pics of full size Broncos, with stacks...

and the majority of people not liking the idea... http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=193143

All I keep thinking back to is this...
