How can I remove a 2000 Mach head unit?

I know I've seen a how-to. As I recall, it requires modified coat hangers.

A link would be appreciated. :)

Tom, you can get the tools from Wal Mart for like $3.00, but honestly, by the time you either buy them or make some, it's easier to remove the two bolts above the HVAC controls/ below the radio in the black center bezel, and pull the bezel forward/ off. From there you han use your fingers to depress the clips on either side of the radio and slide it out. :thumbsup:

I have the tools, but I never use them. Even when I had a stock radio, I pulled the bezel- gave me more room to work anyway since I didn't have to work through the radio cutout. The only time I use them is when I'm pulling radios or EATC/Radio units for Taurus' at the junkyard for people...
 






Thanks guys. I pulled the bezel and it came out fairly easily.

I've got the blank display problem, like everyone else. lol!
