Ok im tired of using 4x4's (peices of wood!) as bumpers and ima debating what to cut to get my real bumpers on there.

So what im asking is did you cut your frame? or did you cut your bumpers to get your bumpers on after a 3" body lift?

i dunno about yer year model but on mine we made some lift brackets ofcourse and then had to notch the bottoms of the bumpers on both sides in order for them to go on correctly.

that sounds like what im stearing towards

my friend with that bronco cut his frame to his bumpers on. I liked the idea but yet i dont. i rather cut the bumpers...

i got another set of the original black ones that came with the truck so if worse comes to worse ill cut those insted of my chrome ones haha.

you dotn need to cut the bumpers.. you might need a little redesigning of the lifted bumper mounts, but that shouldnt be a problem

yeah the front bumper mounts are a little goofy with the bolt pattern

the rear bumper brackets will work except... technically, but the bottom of the bumper sits right where the bottom of the frame is... making it physically impossible for the bumper to sit flush on the frame since its the frame thats in the way!

eaither a 3.5 inch notch needs to be taken out of the frame or out of the bumper
