how do i do a TT ?

how do i do a torison twist on a sport trac? never did one and im going to try to do one tomarrow so i can put my tires on with out my 3 inch lift because i dont have alot of time to put the lift on i just want to make it enough to fit my 33X12.50's .

my understanding is to jack the truck up, put jack stands under it, turn the torsion bolt all the way in and then let it out 1 turn, and to measure from the top of the tire to the body? and to make sure i dont go over 2 inches.

That's not entirely correct. The bolts may be tightened down at different amounts. So making them both even might make your suspension uneven. So you should turn them both the same amount of turns.

i did it!!! i got 2 inches out of my TT.

Most of us would not recommend the TT. IT will cause you future problems....
