how do I remove the inner door panel on pass. side?

Hi.
I'm new to this site... but I'm glad I found it!!!
I broke the grab handle on the pass. side of my '91 Sport. The door wasn't shut all the way... so I grabbed the handle and gave it a hard pull. Well... I guess I don't know my own strength 'cause I ripped that sucker right off!! So I'm in the process of locating the handle piece and trim that goes in the panel. But I'm not sure how to get it all apart without breaking it anymore than it is. Has anybody else gone through this... or do any of you know how to take the panel apart?

Welcome!

Undo to 2 screws by the handle, then pry all the clips loose (all around the edges) that hold the panel. Beware that some of the wires are short and you'll have to be careful not to yank them once the clips come loose.

Sounds simple enough... despite the short wires and all!!! I'll give it a try and hopefully not cause any more damage.
