If it is like mine and my mom's expedition, Look behind the bumper and you will see the wires (in black plastic) that connect to the light. Follow the wires to the light. Then at the back of the light just turn the wires/bulb assembly and you will be able to remove the bulb.
Just crawl under the rear bumper look up you'll see the wires turn the socket and then pull it out.Replace bulbs and "installation is reverse of removal" anybody with the haynes manual knows what Im talking about.
You really can't change them? Then what am I supposed to do with these lights and one of my lights is already out. There has to be a way to change them because there are screws there.

1. From underneath the rear of the vehicle, grasp the lamp socket and rotate it 1/4 turn.
2. Pull the lamp socket from the lens.
3. Pull the bulb from the socket.
4. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
It really isn't that hard. I was trying to pull off the lense but you acctually pull off the entire thing. You just have to pull kind of hard and it comes off, Then It says which way to twist the thing behind it to remove the thing the bulb is in. Then you just pull the bulb out and replace.
