You want to wet sand with a 2000 grit wet sand paper. And then you can use a light compound and then a good polish with an orbital buffer such as a Makita or Porter Cable. You must use a buffer or you will not get good results and the surface will be cloudy.

Does this have 2 be a powerful buffer or can it be one from wal-mart? thanks

It has to be AT LEAST the buffer from Vortex that you car get at pep boys. So yes, it need to be a powerful buffer.

No problem, just be real careful, it does not take much at all to wet sand. As long as you are careful and get a good buffer it will end up simply stunning.
