Hi i just want to know what grit sandpaper do you use to get rid of orange peel? and after sanding the orange peel do you use compuond to get the shine back? thanks
You want to wet sand with a 2000 grit wet sand paper. And then you can use a light compound and then a good polish with an orbital buffer such as a Makita or Porter Cable. You must use a buffer or you will not get good results and the surface will be cloudy.
No problem, just be real careful, it does not take much at all to wet sand. As long as you are careful and get a good buffer it will end up simply stunning.
