never mind i just went with JD 70/30.they where calling for a 8110 because of my static measurement, they are 15-24.but sense i plan on doing more lift, shackles or add a leaf, i decided to go with the 8115,witch is 16-26.i figured i would give up an inch on compressed and gain 2" of extended.looks like i will be putting the 2" extended bump stops in just to be safe.i don't think i will ever compress both tires at the same time and he said they had bump stops built in, but i would rather be safe.ill post how i like them but probably wont be able to tell much till i do the dual set up up front.at least my rears wont be bottoming out for no reason on the street!!

got the new shock in on Friday and they didn't come with boots.what they didn't tell me is that the boots are on back order and wont be in for 2 weeks.so i went ahead and put them in today using the old boots.they are much shorter than the ones i have now, also it appears one of the one was bad because the boot was filled with oil and its super easy to move.they new 70/30 are soft or gentle,i would like them to be a little more stiff on the compression.i also crawled under my neighbors ex and looked at his springs and they look way different than mine.mine are sagging so bad they are almost flat and look like a wet noodle instead of a even smooth arch.so looks like new springs are being added to my list of thing to replace.this also may help with the softness of the shocks.some pics of old and new:D

Looking like an S is bad. This is how it looked on our X before I rebuilt the spring pack.

I added a spring in the pack with one from an f-150 or explorer (I can't remember anymore) and I got some of the arch back (and less S-ness).

This is after I rebuilt the pack this time (I've rebuilt it twice now which is why I can't remember what I did anymore).

When they start to bend backwards they have a tendency to break (or at least more than they would if they were still a nice arch).

O yea mine are probably worse than those.soa wrap I'm sure ain't helpn either.

Just alittle update on the shocks.I've grown to like them more now with time, they are soft but with good springs it would ride real nice.it levels it self off pretty quick so its not real rocky like I fisrt thought they would be.new spring and rear end are going in next mo th so we shall see how they perform after that.but for the price they are great,I'm happy with them witch I didn't think I would be for a dd.
