How do you remove the chrome fog ;oght surrounds

How do you remove the chrome fog ;oght surrounds on a '99 XLT.

I want to paint them to match the grill and air dam .

on the back there are metal spring clips.. you can take a flat tip screw driver and pop them off.... then just pull off the chrome cover..

Help,,,, I see no clips anywhere, there are some screws but not sure about the light assembly.

After you remove the fog lamp assy. it has 3, 8 or 10mm bolts 2 top 1 bottom, (If I remember right) they may be screws... then you will see 4 flat metal piece's about 2" long one in each corner of where the chrome surround assy... once you remove the flat metal spring retainers you will be able to pull the chrome surround out...
