I can't figure out how if, even possible, to get that sucker OUT so I can access the 12v power outlet wiring. If THAT is even possible. I had to stop after getting the front side of the clips out for fear of breaking the whole thing. Is it BOLTED down in the back or am I just not doing it right?

I want to add some LED lights in the cargo area ceiling and want to tap into the cargo area socket and add a switch.

ANY knowledge would be MOST appreciated. I can't find anything here or anywhere.

You could look for the rear storage cubbys or rear interior body panels at fordparts.com and prob you will find them, hopefuly with diagrams that show the assembly or show you if the storage is built into the panel itself(?)

It's secured with screws from the bottom on one side. The outlet should pop right out with a little force. You can also fold the second row forward and the third flat and just pull the entire side cover out. It's just held in with push clips.

The two retainers in the rear screw out first. You can remove the seatbelt, I believe it's a 15mm, but it's not necessary.

That's the info lead I am looking for to get my train on the tracks. I will try that tomm on my next attempt. Thank you Sir!

Glad I could help. The front portion where the rear door sill is is attached to the weatherstrip by a clip as well. If you opt to pull the entire cover out, just be mindful of that. The rear seatbelt bolt is under a smaller cover that also just pops right up, if you decide to do that also. Again, it's not required.

Any question or issues, feel free to ask.

You also have to pull off the rear hatch seal. It also holds the panel in place at the rear
