How do you remove the overhead console?

I need to take my overhead console off to check the compass/temp. display but I have no clue on how to do it. Does anybody know?

Push the button to flip down the sunglasses/garage opener holder. There are 2 screws. Unscrew those and it should pull right off.

Mine has a sunroof and a short console with no compartment. How do you open one of these? I need to wire in the vanity lights on my new sunvisors.

I'm not sure if there are and where screws are. But I know that it slips out from under the sunroof trim which helps hold it up there. You may must pop the front down and the pull the back out from under the sunroof trim.
