How long did your Auto transmission last

I just had the original transmission replaced at 134k miles. I am a little disapointed as I have never towed or abused this car. I am the original owner and have replaced the trans filter every 30k miles. Is it me, am I expecting to much. The owners manual says I can tow up to 4500 lbs you would think this transmission should go 200k if you dont abuse it.

Do you have the 5.0 or the 4.0?? I've heard the 5.0 is usually a 200k trans. if maintained and not abused. What made you decide to go for the trans. change?? Was it slipping or missing gears????

Everything else is a different story...

If it's an manual and your wife drives it, I hear that is the most common wear... Hard to mess up an automatic unless you're a crazy driver.... or of course you have bad luck
