My check engine light has finally shone it's feared orange light of doom. After checking the codes, it seems that either the EGR valve is sticking or the Pressure Feedback sensor for it is not working. I'm pretty sure it's the sensor. When I apply vaccuum to the EGR valve it works and the engine does not idle rough. I'll probably just replace them both since the EGR does have 93,000+ miles on it.
My questions:
How long is it gonna take to change them out? (seems pretty easy)
Do you think I should even change the EGR valve?
Any tips from someone's experience?
How much will it cost for parts? (ballpark figure will do)

I replaced both just a few months ago. Made a huge difference in performance and fuel mileage also increased.

The work is pretty straight forward. A buddy of mine did the work for me at his garage and it took him about 15-20 minutes. Check the vacuum hoses closely. Mine were all cracked and we replaced them with some high temp silicone ones.

Sorry, but I don't remember the cost of the parts. It wasn't too expensive though.
