I have a 1991 Eddie Bauer Explorer. The truck itself has 145,000 miles on it. It has a newer engine from a 94 explorer with about 90,000 miles on it. The thing is, that the trans is on it's way out. It revs really high when it's only going 25mph. It could be a simple repair or a major rebuild. I don't want to spend anymore time or money on the problem so I want to sell it as is. It has a black and tan exterior with a tan leather interior. The exterior of the truck is in pretty good shape, the only rust is on the passenger side rocker panel. The interior is in good shape also with only tears on the drivers side seat. Every over option works except for the air. It has many new parts. New BFG all terrain tires. Shocks. New front pads, rear shoes, and wheel cylinders. New Muffler. New torque converter. Bosch Platinum Plugs +4, Splitfire wires. Many other new parts. What I am looking for is how much can I expect to sell the truck for as is. I know I could get alot more money for it if I fixed it, but that is not want I want to do. Anybody have any idea of what I should ask for a price?
Thanks

Yeah I checked that out already, but they suggested a price much higher then I think I could get. Any other suggestions?

If you answered the KKB form correctly and honsetly then I would start there. They are the experts. Any doubts take the lower value on their form when selecting options like condition, etc.

They were on the conservative side but within 500.00 on what the dealer gave me for my trade and what I picked up the exp for.

Give it a shot and see what you get.
