Ive made a decision to keep the old explorer, maybe i'll get a gas conversion done sometime in the future. Once you have owned one of these you don't want to get
rid of it! and i cant bring myself to sell it. Thanks for all the input anyway guys. Marty.

thats the same system i have on mine,although the tank does look rusty on mine now lol,its so big it makes the ex look like a navel mine layer with the bloody great thing hanging of the bottom.

glad to hear your keeping the explorer ................. as for lpg im gonna look into this a lot more over the next couple of weeks and find out if the d.i.y kit is straight forward enough if so illbe lpg as soon as i round up the pennys

Some insurance companies can be a bit funny about insuring you unless you have the system installed by a registered LPGAinstaller.Also you will need the gas certificate to send to the DVLA to let them know about the changes to the vehicle. This must be sent along with your V5 to Swansea. Once you haave the new V5 you can then send a copy of V5 and gas cert, (not originals as they won't return), to those wonderful people at congestion charging for an exemption from the charge.
