I would like to throw a shackle with 11.5 or 12" of bolt space to get 3" of lift has anyone on here tried this... and how long haave you been riding it? I'm wondering if it will produce a bad angle of wear or worse a vibration

Im not worried about lessening the springs life.... it needs replacing as is... Just temp for 3 or 4 months

not even touching that one, so much wrong with that idea,
if the springs are that bad, change them,

hey corkey I read your shackle thread too good info over there.. The springs arent that bad... I am looking to give a little tt in the front but my rear is slightly lowwer now. Im looking to do a sas in the front this winter. i figured i could kill 2 birds with one stone... straiten my camber a bit and bring back some tention to the front with a 1.5 tt Id like to get like to get 2.5 to 3 in the back

BTW off topic but how long is it between log ins that your id gets deleted... I have had 2 dissapear ive been reading here since about 2000 20001 i seldom log in though my owlwolf id wont respond. Is there like an expired id rule?

add a leaf and regular warrior length shackles would give you 3 inches,

and with the add a leaf and regular warrior length shackles the pinion angle should be okay too ,
i ran that for a bit,
