About 5 hours labor plus the replacement cost of the axle assembly. (give or take an hour)
Thats only the swap, if the replacement one needs anything (ie: seals or bearings or if its a LSD maybe clutch packs) it will run more. Also figure in if your shocks are bad, your rear u-joints may need replacing, your brakes and rotors are "iffy", your parking brake shoes may separate, brake hardware might need to be replaced, the e-brake cables could be bad, maybe your rear sway bar bushings or links are toast. God knows what could be bad until its all torn down and naturally this will add to your cost.
If you go to
www.car-part.com you can find one close to you. If I were you (and I have been there) I would replace it myself. That way you know exactly what is replaced and what you have in the end.
Not going to assume you know your gear ratio, so, there is a label on the drivers door that has a code under the heading axle. Heres a chart to find out what you have by code. You will need the same as you have now unless you intend on regearing the front (also assuming you have a 4X4).
