I once saw an astro van with 4x4 setup that would make many here weep, because it was soooo nice and sitting under a mini-van...

I think that's the only way to make a mini-van cool...but it requires putting the body on the frame of a respectable truck...go figure...

Dude, that would rock! I've been down here in the south for 6 weeks now with my buddy and his pumped 2000 Mustang GT. The ricers still want to mess with him. Just ordered a licence plate that says: Warning! This Explorer doesn't play well with lowriders!! Should have them put ricers on there.

you know what? i heard people actually race honda oddesey minivans.... seriously, they are pretty fast... have like a 3.5 l engine pushing out 240 horse and its a vtec...... not too shabby for a ricer... and in stockform, arent slow... i would say the coolest of any of the new minivans....

A guy down the road from me has an Astro van with an LT4 on vette wheels. It is body dropped I think. That thing is badass. I would drive it. I would drive that Saleen van too. It is probably faster than my truck.

The new Windstars are pretty fast. The Essex 3.8 Liter has 200 horsepower in it. A friend and I took his mom's out once to see what it could do and smoked a Civic That thing will fry the tires if you want it to. Don't diss mini-vans, they may be a bit stupid looking, but they are still fairly light-weight car frames. Doesn't take a lot of power to make them move pretty fast.

I like it because it would be fast, pratical and different. I'm tired of seeing Civics with clears and big APC stickers... I say props to the Saleen Windstar. That thing would be pimp b/c it prolly can handle fairly well (for a van) but still has plenty of room for a bathunkin system and you could pimp out the interior... and they're dirt cheap to buy! The more I think about it, when I'm a rich old fart, I should pimp out a van! Think...
