Is the motor going in to your 91 Ranger? If so, keep the rangers elecronics, and swap out lower and upper intakes if they are different. Get the motor installed, and take it for tuning to someone that can work with odb1, as Streetrod suggested. There is really nothing crazy with your motor, but tuning would help, for sure.
If your using an automatic trans, you will need idle increased.
Also, depending what the motor came out of, the headers might not mate directly to your current exhaust.
