I built this as I was tired of having several diffenent containers in the back holding all my stuff and having such wasted space above the wheel well.
This box was inspired by the one that CJExplorer made.
First material list
(Click on pic's for bigger version)
1) 19/32" OSB Flooring (Use whatever you like as long as it will be sturdy I used this cause it was the cheapest thing I could get close to the 1/2" I planned on using)
2) Jig saw or whatever you have to make the cut (circular saw would be best but I don't have one)
(and as a side note if you go and buy a saw for this don't get a crappy battery powered one this project took me a week to do cause I had to wait on the dang batteries to charge after every cut)
3)Wood glue and Screws
4)The hinges and Hasp(latch thing)
5) Other tools I thought would be useful/used.
6)Material and staple gun to upholster box.
I chose a Polyester material as it was heavy so it should last and the whole bolt of 4yards was on sale for $5!
First thing you will need to do is plan it all out Here is a pic of my plans you are welcome to use at your own risk.

After you make those it's time to start cutting. The best place to start is the bottom piece then cut out the sides.
Once you have those cut out it is time to put it together. I glued and put at least 3 screws in each panel.
Here's the bottom and sides put together.
I then cut out the back piece.
Drawn on the plywood
Cut out and screwed in place.
I then cut and made the pocket that goes over the wheel well. (Didn't get any pics a camera died)

Then I cut out the front and screwed it in place.
Pic of the whole box assembled minus lid.
Then you just have to cut a top and install the hinges and a latch.
Finished box.
(When you are installing the Hasp line it up as a whole assembly but screw the locking part first and don't forget to account for the 1/8" of material. I didn't but I used a Dermal and enlarged the hole so it fits and you can't really tell the difference.)
I had some of this rubber mat stuff around I used to make a bed liner for my ranger and cut some pieces to go at the bottom.
Here's what it looks like.
Next you need to upholster the box basically just staple down one side then stretch it and staple on the other side repeat till all sides are stapled down.
I used 1/4" staples and a cheap gun I got from Lowes.
My assistant when me and mom were covering the box.
He kept attacking the tape measure and anything else that would move LOL.
Finished product.
