How to change cv joint?

Hi every one,
I have '96 Ford explorer with 135K miles on it.
i notice to hearing klunking noisy coming out of left front. So i purchsed the parts and try to remove old cv joint and it so harder than I was expecting it.
upper knuckle arm just not comming apart.
Does any one can help me how to get the cv joint out of?

K I picked up the seals (not sure which one I need of the 3). But I can return the ones I don't use. sKF brand.

The CV axle is track motive brand. It's all the store here had in stock. Is this a good brand? The store clerk didn't have much to say. I don't want to go too cheap. Still costed me $120CAD.
