How To - Change your floor mats!

Hey all,
In an effort to contribute to the site and introduce myself formally, I thought my first thread should be a 'How To' instead of just using the forum without ever contributing

Unfortunately, I haven't finished my first project yet so I can't type up those instructions yet, so instead, I'm going to do this one!

How to change your floor mats!

Necessary Items:
New Floor Mats
Gripping Tool (Hands, etc.)

Suggesed Items:
Opposable Thumbs

Step 1
Open your doors

Step 2
Remove the old floor mats

Step 3
Place new floor mats where old floor mats were located

Step 4
Close your doors

Step 5
Enjoy

Ah, Thanks for the thread with pics! I was reversing steps 2 and 3. Now my car feels better than ever and I think it is even getting better gas mileage! Thanks!!

I'm confused:scratch:. . . Why would you change your own floor mats . . . Isn't that what the dealer is for?

They put in ugly rubber tan ones, I like the black ones better.

Plus the dealership took 2 weeks to get me my truck, so we're in a fight.

On another note, anybody in the Massachusetts area care to help me lower it in the next few months?

While this thread is great, it doesn't help me get my fuel flap open - any advice for that???

Soon as I know what a fuel flap is, I'll try to help.

This is as much a learning experience for as it is a chance to have a great car.

I've read through at least 50 threads in the past week or so and my list of future mods is 2 pages long

BTW, I also read about 40 pages of Charlie Wenzel over on Pirate 4x4, that story is hilarious.
