How to Disable ABS on 98+ but keep speedo/no cel?

It should work just fine, to disable the abs, just flip the switch. To turn it back on, flip the switch back and restart the vehicle. Everthing should then work just as if you never did anything.

I didn't end up going offroading today so i didn't get to test the truck in the dirt, but in my driveway it works just like hunterdan states.

Installed it a few days ago. Works great thanks

Been using my killswitch for years now. Awesome little mod. (When it's needed) ABS has it's uses at times.

Sorry to bring this up from the dead, but I want to make sure I have a few things straight...

On my 01 4x4 xls 4.0

1. If I simply remove the abs fuse like I normally do on all my other vehicles then not only will the ABS become disabled but also my speedometer?

2. If I disconnect a wheel speed sensor it will of course disable my abs but also leave my speedo working?

3. If the speedo is getting its data from the wheel speed sensors/abs system as opposed to the transmission output shaft like most vehicles I'm familiar with, then will the speedo remain accurate even with non stock diameter tires?

Thanks.
