How to find X color?

This may seem like a dumb question, but how do I go about finding the exact color name or classification of my X? Is it one of the numbers on the driver's side door or what?

I believe it is one of those numbers, actually, I think it is a 2 letter combination, but if you post the color here, I'm sure somebody will know what it is called.

Find the two letter code on the info tag on the driver's side door, then check this thread for the color name.

If you can't find it in that thread, post it and someone will eventually figure it out.

Hey thanks man, I knew there had to be a thread on it somewhere around here! It turns out my paint color is exactly what I thought it was: Toreador Red. It looks so much darker than other Explorers of the same color though...weird.
