My brother owns a 99 Ranger 2wd and he wants to get some wheels that make the tires stick out a little. Not a whole lot to make it look crappy - but enough to give it a sort of "beast" look. What would he need to get to achieve this. I was thinking that the Backspacing of the wheel would be the only way to get them to stick out...but I am guessing the wheel width plays an effect too. Thanks

Wider Wheels with less back spacing. Wider tires will also help greatly.

Yeah, get some 15x10's with like 3.5" or 4" backspacing and then you will get a wide look

Is he lifting it at all?

Unless you're doing a lot of lift, with 15X10s you will have to do some trimming.

He's not lifting his truck. He just wants to the wide look, but he wants aggressive tire (mud terrains) that will stick out 1-1 1/2" from the wheel well.
