How to remove body trim?

I did a search for this and couldn't find anything.. what is holding the rocker panel trim and fender flares on? Is is glue or screws? I kind of want to take the trim off, I think 3rd gen. Explorers look a little more rugged without them..

I would also like to know this. My driver door trim piece rattles when I crank up the bass, or close the door. Its the only one that does it and sounds horrible when the stereo is turned up some.

If it rattles I imagine its probably held on by screws, which sucks. Because if you take them off, you'll have holes.

I just did a little more investigating... they are held on by screws. Nevermind..
