Well i found out my busted AC is because of a snapped fitting on the hose between the compressor and condensor.

But I don't see how to disconnect the ac hose from the compressor, do both come off at the same time, or how do I get them disconnected from the compressor to get a replacement.

Is the system open, meaning it has been open to atmosphere? If it has, for more than a day or so, you will also need a new dryer. They cannot be exposed to atmosphere for long. If that is the case, just replace that hose, and take a dryer with you to an AC shop to have it installed, and charged.

There are a couple of quick disconnects which need a minor special tool. If you need that tool, get it for about $5 from any parts store. Good luck,

Yep, planned on getting a new dryer, but can't figure out how to get the hose off the compressor. Are both hoses detatchable independantly to the compressor?

Sorry, I cannot recall. Maybe I'll remember to look tomorrow, night.
