HI ALL.
NEED ADVISE OR SUGGESTIONS AND MODS I DID TRY THE SEARCH FEATURE COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING. I HAVE A 2001 SPORT TRAC BLACK IT HAS A FIBERGLASS GAYLORD CAP THAT HAS OXIDATION THAT IS VERY BAD.
IT LOOKS LIKE A GRAY COLOR OR MILKY AND HAS NOT BEEN MAINTAINED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER IS THERE ANYTHING ON THE MARKET LOCAL AUTO STORE THAT I CAN GET T O TRY AND BRING IT BACK TO IT’S ORIGINAL COLOR ? AND THAT DOES NOT NEED A BUFFER TO APPLY THE PRODUCT? THIS WILL HAVE TO BE DONE BY HAND.
THANK YOU IN ANDVANCE

The best products I have found for removing oxedation from paint have been from Adams Polishes. And yes it may take a buffer/polisher or a whole lota elbow grease. On his website adamspolishes.com he has a forum for restoring paint work. The junkman on the forum has some videos of the process. Hope this helps.
