How to use E85 in my Mountaineer

Hello.

I read the owners manual for my 2004 Mercury Moutaineer. I verified that my model is a flex fuel model. My question is, how do I use it? Is it as simple as sticking in the nozzle and fueling up? Do I need to change out some parts first? Any help is appreciated.

BTW, I don't come here very often. Did do a search first, but didn't find anything.

Nothing special has to be done. I usually try to run the fuel in the tank as low as possible and then add either the E85 or 87 octane.

Thanks a lot. It's running about 2.48 a gallon here. Only one gas station selling it.

Need to save on some cash.
