Husky / WeatherTech Floor and Cargo Liners

If you go over to the Explorer facebook page, at about 8:10 eastern tonight an owner posted pics of the Husky liners installed for both the cargo area (3rd row seats folded down) and the well behind the third row seats. Look pretty good to me.

Could not find them, can you link to them?

I don't see it either.

Can you link and or tell us the exact name of the FB profile name. Or a link to that profile would be nice as well.

They are on the Wall. I think this link will take you to pic of the cargo liner - http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=196163447084945&set=p.196163447084945&theater.
I actually really like the looks of this. After seeing some pics of the Weather Tech mats on the Facebook picture page (different angle than the ones shown here) I've decided I really don't like them. They look to small for the area, especially what appears to be passenger side, and they also look like they could trip up feet going in and out. After seeing the cargo liner from husky, I think that's the way I'm going - 1st and 2nd row, and cargo. I'll pass on the full extended cargo (with 3rd row down) as I don't expect to need that space much. I'll load up the Odyssey with seats down if I really need to hall a big messy load.

Those are the ones, thanks for linking. For about $300 (free shipping, and a $10 coupon if you sign up for the email list) from autoaccessoriesgarage.com, you can get all the Huskies -- first and second row mats, liner for the well behind the 3rd row, and the extended cargo liner with the 3rd row folded down. I think I'm going to use the Ford OEM all weather mats that I ordered as extra protection if I put the second row down as well...

I just went out to Auto Accessories and took a look at the liners. Here is the picture of driver side liner >>> http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com/Floor-Mats-Liners/Husky-Liners-WeatherBeater-Floor-Liners.

Is this a 2011 Explorer? I've not seen the release mechanism they show by the door sill before (I assume for gas tank) and I know it's not in the pics from earlier showing both WT and Husky liners. I'm not familiar with most recent X's so is this a different model year?

Also, how can Auto Accessories sell Husky liner for less than the Husky website? That doesn't make any sense and just worries me.

Sean

Surprised no mention of the Nifty/Lund "Catch-It" or "Catch-It Carpet" Liners. They are very nice!

That picture is absolutely NOT a 2011 Explorer.

Look at the seat, look at the dash, look at the steering wheel, look at the shifter, among other things.

I don't have my X yet, so I am not intimately familiar with how it looks yet :(

It is getting built tomorrow though, so it won't be long before I'll be able to identify all this little flaws. I knew that floor lever wasn't supposed to be there.

Anyone with thoughts on how buying direct from manufacturer isn't cheaper than buying from 3rd party?

Isn't it kind of like "MSRP" (Husky's web site) vs. what a given dealer/retailer wants to sell it for, within some kind of broad ranges set by the manufacturer? Husky has to keep the price fairly high on their direct site...otherwise they will drag all prices down (and thus their profit). Also, any given retailer may have their own specific reasons why they may want to offer an item for a decent price (drive traffic and cross-sell or up-sell, inventory reasons, etc.). You can usually find any given electronics item cheaper on an internet retailer's website than if you order directly from the manufacturer, if the manufacturer even offers it directly to the public.

Yeah...I got my Over 3rd Row Husky liner for like $98 at a local retailer. Hopefully he calls me today to tell me its in!!!

I purchased the behind third row liner from www.realtruck.com for $80.75,with free shipping. This is the best price I could find. They have all the husky liners at good prices and very fast free shipping.

Sounds cheap....consensus seems to be Husky now so I better pull the trigger

The Husky Engineer who gave me the pictures I posted said that some of the retailers they sell them to have them up for maybe a $5 profit if they are lucky, they just seem to sell them for as cheap as possible. As well that picture may not be off a 2011 Explorer, but it looks exactly the same as the mats I have downstiars in my parkin spot waiting for my new Explorer.

Any mats for the third row?

same question, were can I order a liner for the third row???

I just ordered the husky first/second row as well as behind the 3rd row from www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com for a total of about $190.00 with free shipping, they have a promo code good only on the weekend, it's on their website.

Just ordered mine too. I don't have my X yet (supposed to be build yesterday) but I figure at some point these shops will run out and these will get back ordered.

I picked up the same thing - 1st/2nd row + normal cargo liner (behind 3rd row).

I can always send them back if they turn out to be not as expected.

Also, if you can make $5 on each unit sold, and can steal the business from everyone else and sell thousands, it's good business.

I'm curious what color mats did you get? And, what color is the interior of your Explorer. I have the two tone (stone/charcoal) interior. The grey they show looks like it would be a little bit lighter than the charcoal.

Hi Lucille. Mine has the medium light stone interior as well and ordered the black Huskies for mine. Still waiting for them.

I have the Charcoal/Black interior and I went with the Black liners.

I figured you can't go wrong with black on black, and was worried the gray would be too light with the rest of the dark interior.

@New To Ford, and others, if you happened to order the Ford OEM all weather floor mats, I'm sure they could be made to fit in the third row (as their coverage seems to be less than stellar in the first and second rows.)
