ok guys, heres the scoop:
A couple days ago i was doing donuts in the snow up here in New Hampshire (in a parking lot)
I went to slide it around a bit and accidently hit a curb that was buried in the snow! haha This caused my X to jolt pretty violently, enough in fact to shatter the bulb inside the passenger side headlight. Well, unfortunately what happened is, while the bulb shattered, the filament was till burning. Now I have not a round hole but a jagged, crazy looking thing that no bulb will fit into. I guess what Im wondering is, would a ford dealer sell me just this part? (The rectaungular piece with the "round" hole that the lightbulb accepts into.)
Or any other suggestions on where I might find this as Im now driving around with 1 headlight (not the smartest idea as Ive already been pulled over for it)

TIA

Looks like the bulb itself looses inside the housing and melt the attachment hole while was turned on.
I though that the housing and the lense ar one piece and you can't get only the rear part of the headlight.
Check in a junk yard.
Is not against the law drive with only one headlight operative? Be aware of cops around!

Good hunt;)

I'm pretty sure that the light housing is one piece -- you need to replace the whole thing. Hit the junkyard or check out eBay. Shouldn't be a big deal given the year.
