...and filter change - $130. It's been about a month now since I did it and I've been very happy with the results. My shifting has been noticably smoother, the RPMs are holding longer, and my gas mileage seems to have slightly improved. I was under the car the other day and I noticed that the trasmission pan was gleeming silver (amongst all the rust
) so I guess they really cleaned the pan inside and out - nice touch.
I admit I have not gotten around to actually checking the fluid but I'll do that soon. However, the performance of my truck leads me to beleive this was a good move - I plan to do it every 30K.
ps: I've got a 2000 AWD V8 with 34k and it was done at the AAMCO in Hicksville NY (in Long Island).
