I'm Pat. I'm a co-founder of BroncoII.org. I now have a 1992 4dr explorer as my Daily driver. Been doing lots of work to it since I got it last summer. Just finished converting to a M5OD 5 speed last month. Before that, I put a C5 into it but didn't like how loose the converter was and the lack of overdrive. I gained 4 mpg with the 5 speed over the C5.

I have the M5OD in MY X, my wife has the A4LD..

My 5spd gets about 4-5 mpg better than her auto...but hers is also 4WD, and I am 2WD
