Welp, after months of sporatically investigating the perfect lift for me and my 93 I have found it. The lift is the 5.5 Superlift with the radius arms (not the Superrunner) and the suspension over axle conversion in back (so U bolts and mounting bracket back there in the kit I guess). I dont have the means or experience to put a kit like this on myself so there goes 450$ for labor. Plus through the dealer I could get this kit for around 700 or 800$...W/O SHOCKS! of course...so then add on another 200$ for the cheapo rancho rs5000's...so im looking at around 1300$. Unfortunatly I dont make enough money to afford this really. My only hope is to find the lift for cheaper or get around the labor cost. Oh well, at least I can dream that mabye someday I wont feel so insecure on the trails. Hey mabye ill break something and have to get that fixed thereby giving me an excuse...oh well dreams can happen

Coilovers? How much lift for those usually

Why don't' you start with something a little more in your price range. A little lift and disconnect the sways and you will a see big improvement.

SOA is about 5.5" or 5". You can remove your bumpstops (experience from a Ranger) and get a bit less height. Or remove your overload spring and remove abour 3/4 of an inch.

So, ill be reasonable here...what can I do to fit 32s or mabye 33's?

Coil spacers and shackles (1.5") - $100-150 parts

AND/OR

2" or 3" body lift -- $100-150 parts

with both of those you'd be able to fit 33's with a little trimming.

Then when you do have some money, take out the body lift and throw in the 5.5" lift.

lift

Peter I'll sell you my 6" Superlift for 300 bucks The lift was about 650. It has all the lift bracket for the front and the rear. It also has the sway bar mounts. The only thing it doesn't have is the front springs, and those can be bought for about 65 bucks. I no longer need these part because I did a solid axle in the front. I f you would like these parts let me know.

solid I appreciate the offer...but the guy doin this for me doesnt want to deal with incomplete superlifts...also i think that a small body lift or spacers might be the right thing for me now anyways...the labor is where it really hurts and hopefully I can get a small labor fee for that...

what about that 2.5" duff kit?
