I need 4WD help.

Hi I have a 1995 explorer sport with the control trac 4wd I need to get it to where i can lock it in 4 high for the winter. I have looked at the other forums and the Brown Wire Mod and I am getting confused to whether or not it will work. The BWM says thats all I have to do. the other forums are saying something about the CAD system. HELP PLEASE QUICK!!!!
