Lower Intake Manifold O-Rings maybe??

Are you aware of the 00M12 Program? How many miles on the truck?

90000 I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FORDS I JUST BOUGHT IT 3 WEEKS AGO,1ST FORD EVER

Well first thing to do (depending on your budget) is to run the codes. The code reader for your truck is around 200 bucks I beleive. Or you could always just take it into a mechanic. You could also try cleaning the IAC. Do a search for it on this site.

I TOOK IT TO GET THEM READ AND THEY TOLD ME NOTHING WAS WRONG GO DO A TUNEUP,SO I DID IT AND IT STILL RUNS LIKE CRAP,IM GONNA GO DO A SEARCH FOR WHAT YOU SAID THANKS

sounds like o2 sensor, fuel filter, idle air control valve, or a dirty mass air flow sensor, or a bad fuel pressure regulator

I SHOULD PROBAL;LY GO drop it off and let a mechanic do it huh?i went to buy the o2 sensor today but they had 2 kinds and i honestly dont know where it is even at,any of you know?

o2 sensors are located on the exhuast manifolds..... also, with the cel triggering i would try the maf first

where is the maf at?

near the air filter

where exactly is the aic valve at,i ran a search but cant find specifics to where or what itlooks like,i want to go take it out right now and clean it any oone know exactly where to look for it?and what it looks like?

It's a cylinder attached with two screws to your intake manifold right near the throttle body. It has an electrical plug in it.

is it a silver casing ?when i take it off what do i clean,i appreciate all your help

Read up on 00M12 and another one for the cam chain tensioners 01M??. Bring the truck to Ford dealer and have them check the service history to see if the Warranty repairs were ever done. If not, I'd try and get your money back from whoever you bought the truck from, cause the repairs cost $$$$$$, and based on your symptoms, I'm betting it's the manifold O-ring problem.

it started knocking today real loud,i dropped it off at the shop to have it looked at.this sh** suxs ,only had it a little bit ,im wondering how much its gonna cost to fix, anyone know a place to get a engine cheep?

i cleaned iac and it did no good,it just started running worse,it knocks from 1000-2400 rpms then it goes away, anyone know why?
