I need help with power windows.

i have a 92 4dr explorer bought it for 700. all the switches and motors work but windows wont work. i can hear them turning. any help would be great

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 91-94 section. It sounds like the tracks are stripped, but it's unlikely that all 4 windows have the same problem. Are you sure that the motors turn when you press the buttons?

The bushings might need replacing if you can hear them turning but not moving.

Here is a thread to get you started. If they are the bushings in the motor, it's like 8-9 bucks for a set of bushings for one motor. A lot better to spend a few hours fixing these yourselves then going to someplace that will tell you that the entire motor assembly needs to be repalced. About 40 bucks versus 400 for all 4.
