Hello, i havent been here in a while, been to busy with school.

Anyways, does anyone know how the 1995 Explorer Limited power window system is set up? I keep having this problem where the window lock will become stuck on for all the windows, but the drivers side of course will still be able to put down all the windows and what not. Its really annoying, and ususally when this happens it fix's it self within a few days, but its been 2 months now and im sick of it.

So. Does each window get power from the driver controls, thus if the window lock is stuck on then each window will not work? Or is it controled by a relay or somthing?

Basically what im getting at is how to fix it.... Is it somthing to do with the wiring? Or should i replace the drivers side controls? Or what???

Thanks!

Your lock switch is "gummed up". You need to take it out and clean and / or replace it. And no there is no separate relay just the switch.

that is great to hear!!!! im glad that its just the switch! Ill have to swing by the local junk yard and pick one up.

THANK!!

First try taking it out and spraying it with electrical parts cleaner. That should work with out getting another that may also need cleaning.
