53" tires, Rockwell axles, twin stick doubler transfer case-full body armor and skid plates, roll cage. About 26 off road lights.

Hey. it's your money.

Welcome!

After a couple of months of solid reading, posting, conversing, and your life savings (unless your related to the Rockefeller family), you will have a rig that might look like one you see on here.

Just use the search feature as often as possible or your going to get replies that look like this:

That's what I should be buying for my explorer? Damn I've been thinking too small.

Easy killer, you need to look at what your going to do with this truck. If 99% of the time you will be driving it to work then a mammoth 4X4 is not for you.

3" body lift with 33's, add your own accessories to the outside for a custom appearance

okay, serious answer time,
consider what you want it to do than look at other pictures of different rigs and check out the Elite Registry section of the forum, most guys list what they have done to there rigs to get them to look like they do.
than carefully consider what of those options you can and should do, than go to it,

it will take some time, and some money to get what you want for a finished product, so be forewarned, it can get expensive, or be done farily cheaply,
depending on what you want to do,
1 option is a torsion twist on the front, and shackles on the back, than add a body lift , and you can go up to a 33 inch tire with the correct gearing , that is very usable off road , but can also be driven on the highway every day, and not cost a fortune in gas,

remember a full blown rig is gonna take a bit of time, but be worth it in the end,

So do you plan on wheeling it, or do you just want to pretend like you do?

hahha you all crack me up

but hey man took me About 1000 dollars to make my mounty look like it is...thats with the tires...just take your time and do your homework

nah man roanokes got plenty of spots, you just gotta know where to go

But all he said was he wanted it to look like... I agree throw some dirt and mud on it and there ya go.

I plan on getting a kit from them in the future

You guys are brutal on this guy. I had to go back and check what site I was on, thought it might have been Pirate.

Here's my take on this.
Get yourself a roof rack with some lights with a 48" High Jack mounted on side, throw a spare on top and don't worry about high center of gravity...it's just for looks anyway, slap some Ballistic Fabrication stickers or Currie Enterprises decals on. Get one of those receiver style cargo carrying boxes in rear with all the associated coolers, ropes, Jerry cans and such. Might want to leave the Jerry cans empty, too much weight just for looks.
Do what I do, this is really trick...stuff some branches in the suspension so everyone can see them hanging when driving down the interstate.
Hang around the entrance to the George Washington National Forrest with your arm in a sling and your passenger in a neck brace.
And by all means, paint that grill black, it's just too gay looking.

Here's a few sites of hundreds I have booked marked. Warning some of these sites are hardcore off-roading and may be too sensitive for some viewers.
