Identifying engine connector

Hi I’m working on a 03 explorer 4.0 the engine was tore apart when I got it and trying to figure out where things go now that it’s rebuilt. Does anyone have an idea what this plug goes to? It has a metal clip fairly long wire. I can take more pics if needed thanks

That looks like the crank position sensor connector. Look at your harmonic balancer and see if there is a bracket just to the passenger side with a sensor on it.
 






Thanks I bet that’s it I don’t have a sensor there looks like I’ll need to get one.
