This isn't new to me, as it was doing this last year but ever since I replaced my intake gaskets the rpms when idled on a cold engine act up. Instead of staying at 700 or 800 they go up to about 1100 and stay that way for a minute. If I give it gas it will clear up and drop below 600 and almost stall out unless I catch it in time by revving it more. It's hard to explain but it seems like the rpms just kind of get stuck and I have to smooth it out?
It does this when stopping too sometimes. When coasting to a stop I have to hit the brakes harder cause of the increased idle. It's not a serious problem or anything but wondering what could be causing it.
