The oval is one unit, no bulbs. It's basically like the indiglo stuff in the timex watches. I don't remember the exact name. Anyway, dunno if I can get a new one. It was a gift from my dad and no matter how many times I tell him to save receipts, he doesn't. I'll check though, I know he got them from JC.
