That's a cool site, so you could get that for about 1000 bucks?

yeah very possibly under $1K.

w/ a salvaged title, thats no longer insurable is it? For street use? Sorry but just kinda looks like a waste of money unless you are planning for a decent trail rider.

It can be re-titled. Basically in Maryland it needs to be inspected by the state police in order for it to be re-titled. Simple process after a repair is made, they just go over the damaged area.. I believe they also require proof of receipts for parts & stuff.

Yes it is insurable, Ive owned 2 salvaged explorers. It as to be inspected and reissued a title that should say rebuilt or something like that. My first one was a flood salvage from a hurricane, and my second on is a rollover salvage but does no have a salvage title anymore because of some bought, and retitled out of state loophole.

thats ghey. Why couldnt you have cut the rear tire carrier off and use it for your next rig?

Basically in order for me to take that bumper I would have needed to provide a stock one. Besides it would have been hard to take back with me in a car and then again I can re-produce it for cheaper than its worth trying to take off.
