ok ive been wanting the b&m shift kit and then ive read the previous posts about it and all these questions came in my head. since im gettin the electrical one, is my tranny alright to deal with that or would i have to do somthin to it. and whats the deal with the switch and fires happening that threw me off?

Your BM shift improver will also have a vacuum component, but it's not a big deal. The install isn't any harder than installing a set of lights, for example.

About the fires:
The resistor unit of the shift improver can create a lot of heat. I installed some computer heatsinks on mine to help keep it cool. It is ziptied up out of the way, but it hangs letting air flow around it. I would not mount it flush against a surface. As long as you mount it clear of other surfaces, you will be fine.

alright thanks and does it just hang under by all your fuses and stuff or what

Yes, basically it hangs where the 91-94 fuse panel is.
