Hello im new to explorers and already in love, i love speed so im wondering where in the forums i go to talk about what upgrades to do and how to do it, im not mechanically inclined almost at all but would love to be and learn while building my first ever "sleeper"

@cyro50 I'm newly added to the forum, but I've done my research on Explorers... The 5.0L V8 is a good place to start for speed. A little research will show you that that's the Mustang's 302 block, so the sky's the limit as long as you've got green! Pretty sure Shelby made a supercharger for Explorers too (V6 and V8), but I lost the link, sadly.

As far as wrenching goes, the Explorer is a great place to start. Easy to work with, easy to work on, and any thing you can't figure out from the Haynes repair manual, just check EF!

Be sure to document and photograph whatever you decide to do with it!
