Hey guys,
So I replaced my head gaskets and cleaned all the carbon buildup from everywhere imaginable. Then I cleaned all the old gasket off, but it all back together according to the Haynes book, and started her up.
It started right up, all was lookin well, until the idle lowered down to where it sits normally on the tack when seconds later the engine started moving left and right, and then started to sound like a carb engine, right before dyeing seconds later. It did this twice maybe.. It would start fine, and after 50 sec or so decide to stall out.
Then I took it on a drive, and it drove alright, kickdown didn't work, but it drove without stalling or even hesitating... even at stops! But the moment its not in gear and has time to chill in idle mode it decides it better to stall then remain on... ODD!
Everything is hooked up a-ok, I checked all the lines, vac lines, etc and all was fine...
Any ideas??
