Hey guys... I just got back to the UK last night after being away for 6yrs and I went to start the old girl today, and, the stupid immobilizer won't turn off..

The fob has a brand new battery and I can't get anything from the fob.. no flashy light, nothing... how can I bypass this stupid immobilizer to get the old beast to fire up??
I've searched n found nothing...

Any help would be great

Thanks

Si

Hi, I bypassed mine by taking the fuel tank out and bridging one of the pairs of wires by the pump. One wire will be live when you turn the key until near the pump where the immobiliser relay cuts it off. Sorry for the dodgy terminology but I did it in the dark one night in desperation four years ago!

I've seen it referenced on here somewhere but can't remember where. Might not be ideal but it's better than not being able to drive :D

I cleaned up the remote fob and i got it to run.. then the brake lines burst...
