ingntion switch removel with out the key

Is there any way to remove the igntion switch with out the ignition key on a 91. It has a manual tranny if that makes a difference.

Not that I know of, the Hayne's manual says you need the key. Maybe if you eff the lock up enough you won't need it.

some how you have to get the harden pin pushed in with out breaking the case

Time for a locksmith! Being able to remove the lockset without the key would pretty much eliminate the need for a lockset.

Can the locksmith cut a key or does he just remove the lock cylinder so you can install a new one.

might be able to take the lock off the colum an bring it to ford an have them remove the lock. they will have a master key to turn it.
if that dont work call a local locksmith with what they could do for you

Ford should be able to cut a new key with the VIN.
