Inner fender air inlet

True, you have to finish this mod by making it a sealed intake and drawing in cool outside air like they did in the 60's muslce machines (Look at the 427 Ford Thunderbolt- thats ram air baby) and the late model Pontiac Ram Air vehicles.

It is proven fact that a cold air ram system is better than just an open filter element in the engine compartment- How much better? Who knows, but I for one like to have all the T's crossed and I's dotted.

Had a March Ram Air System on my '91 5.0 mustang and slept good at night knowing it was properly engineered.

You have some Great Posts, Al, thanks. I was wondering if this kind of modification might casue me performance issues up here in Fairabnks, Alaska with the seriously cold temps we can get (-50F at times). The question before about warm temps made me wonder about the efficiency of the air temp. I'm looking at replacing my stock intake box with the MAC system and possibly the 70mm mustang throttle body.
